Join Us for our Fly Fishing School

We are introducing our inaugural fly fishing school at On DeMark Lodge June 1st through June 6th, 2025. We are extremely excited to teach the skill and passion we have for this incredible sport and river.
If you are wanting to get started, just beginning, or haven’t fished out of a drift boat this will give you everything you need to continue the passion. This can be for you or someone you know, or someone you would like to accompany you on your next fly fishing adventure. Fly fishing is truly something that everyone can enjoy and we would like to get more people across the spectrum to share in this world of ours.
Our guests will get a 5 night stay at the lodge along with 4 days full of education, instruction and fishing. This comes with the stay, culture of our lodge, and Becky’s incredible meals, appetizers, and desserts. You will be taking home an Orvis Clearwater rod, reel and line combo to remember your time and to use in your future fishing.

Flies and bugs on the river. Show examples of what’s living in the river and the artificials that imitate them. (Why we do it)

Morning -Talking about and demonstrating different surface and subsurface setups. Casting sessions with each type of setup

Boat class. Talk about fishing from the boat and techniques used. Why does the guide maneuver the boat the way he does?
